You never know what’s going to happen in the world of professional wrestling, and apparently there was a story making the rounds claiming that Keith Lee walked out on AEW last week. Fightful Select is reporting that the story is untrue, and there was instead a miscommunication between the two sides.
People who have spoken about the situation confirmed that Keith Lee was at the Dynamite and Rampage tapings last week. At some point Keith Lee was told he wasn’t being used for Dynamite, so he left the building, which is something that often happens when talent are told they aren’t needed for a show.
However, Keith Lee was booked for Rampage and that information was not relayed to him before he left the building, so the card had to be adjusted. There doesn’t seem to be any heat over the situation as it was reportedly blown out of proportion on social media. Keith Lee will be at the Dynamite/Rampage tapings tonight.
