It was an eventful weekend for the wrestling world to say the least as the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event aired on Saturday and the show gave fans plenty to talk about.
Liv Morgan challenged Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World Championship and in the end it was Liv who walked out with the gold. During the match Dominik Mysterio interfered as he seemingly tried to help Becky Lynch retain her belt by throwing a chair in the ring. However, Liv Morgan used the chair to her advantage to pick up the win.
Following the match Becky Lynch announced that she has a rematch clause in her contract and indicated that she would be using that clause to get a rematch on Monday.
Ahead of Monday Night Raw this week Adam Pearce has confirmed that Liv Morgan will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch tonight. Pearce also announced he wants the title match to be one on one, so it will take place inside a steel cage.
