The WWE Day 1 pay-per-view has come and gone, and the show changed the landscape of the company in a major way as Big E was dethroned when Brock Lesnar pinned him to win the WWE Championship in the main event.
It was recently reported that Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar is the direction coming out of the Day 1 pay-per-view, and it looks like we’ll be getting that match sooner than later. Steve Muehlhausen of DAZN is now reporting that the Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley match is set to take place at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view later this month.
It was also recently reported that Brock Lesnar is listed internally as a member of the Monday Night Raw roster, but the company will continue to play up his status as a free agent.
The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is set to take place from St. Louis, Missouri at The Dome at America’s Center on Saturday, January 29th. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
