The WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event aired from Montreal on Saturday night and the women’s Elimination Chamber match kicked off the show. Asuka, Liv Morgan, Nikki Cross, Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya and Carmella faced off for a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship and it was Asuka who punched her ticket to WrestleMania.
Nikki Cross was eliminated first when Raquel Rodriguez pinned her after picking her up and charging into the pod using Nikki’s body like a battering ram. Liv Morgan was eliminated when she passed out after Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter while Asuka put her in an armbar. Natalya then put Asuka in the Sharpshooter, but Carmella hit her with a superkick to eliminate her.
Asuka and Carmella then beat down Raquel Rodriguez and pinned her at the same time to bring it down to two. Carmella immediately hit Asuka with a superkick, but Asuka kicked out. Carmella and Asuka exchanged pins a few times then Asuka locked in the Asuka Lock to earn a shot at Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.
