Last week on Monday Night Raw, Dominik Mysterio teamed up with Liv Morgan to defeat Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega in the main event. Their celebration was short lived however as Rhea Ripley made her return shortly after they picked up the victory.
This week Rhea Ripley kicked off Monday Night Raw and she did so in a big way. The former WWE Women’s World Champion made her way down to the ring then she told the fans that Mami’s home. She said it’s been three months since she’s been in the ring which is because of one person, Liv Morgan.
Rhea Ripley said Liv has been running around with something that belongs to her, but it’s not Dominik Mysterio. Ripley said it’s the WWE Women’s World Championship she never lost. She asked Liv to come out then Dominik made his way out instead carrying a black rose. Dominik yelled at the fans as they tried to drown him out with boos. Ripley turned her back to Dominik while he talked.
Liv Morgan then appeared on the screen as she asked Rhea if she could hear her ok. Morgan asked Rhea if her shoulder is doing ok then held up the WWE Women’s World Championship. She said that she thinks now Rhea knows that she meant it when she said she wants to take everything from her. Morgan stated that she didn’t understand what Rhea saw in Dominik, but it all became real to her, but it’s become more real than what Rhea had with Dominik.
Dominik tried to respond as he told Rhea Ripley that it’s not what it looks like. Rhea said that Liv knows when they face off in the ring her revenge tour will end. Ripley then challenged Liv Morgan to a title match at SummerSlam. Liv said she always knew a match for the belt would be the endgame, so she’s not going to run, but Rhea needs to know that she’s not the Liv Morgan she once knew, and she’s finally going to beat her.
Liv Morgan then accepted the challenge for the WWE Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam and told Dom that she hopes to see him there too. Dominik held his held in shame as the fans chanted for Rhea Ripley. The former champion then looked into the camera and vowed to end Liv’s revenge tour, title reign and career.
