The Royal Rumble gave fans plenty to talk about, but when it was all said and done it was Bayley who punched her ticket to WrestleMania 40 when she won the women’s Royal Rumble.
This week during Friday Night SmackDown, Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce stood in the ring as Bayley made her way out with Damage CTRL. The fans chanted Bayley’s name as she said she’s almost done it all, but this year is different, this year is special because Damage CTRL supported her. Bayley said Damage CTRL is family the Kairi & Asuka laughed.
While talking about WrestleMania, Bayley said to be the best she has to beat the best which brings her to Rhea Ripley. She paused and said she could go a different route because sometimes it’s more personal. Bayley said sometimes you have to prove the people you thought were your friends wrong.
Bayley spoke Japanese to Kairi, Asuka and Iyo Sky then said she picked it up when they talked about her behind her back. She said all she wanted to do was take Damage CTRL to the top. She questioned why Iyo Sky turned on her then she was attacked from behind by Asuka & Kairi. Bayley grabbed a pipe and took out Asuka & Kairi. She went to swing at Iyo Sky then she paused. Iyo Sky left the ring with Asuka & Kairi. Bayley then got on the mic and announced that she’ll be challenging Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.
