WWE SmackDown aired live from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, NC on Friday night and the show featured a big opening segment. Drew McIntyre pulled Jacob Fatu from a car and the two stars ended up brawling in the arena until Jacob put Drew through the announce table.
As the action continued The MFTs defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against Damian Priest & R-Truth in the first match of the night. The MFTs had the upper hand early on, but R-Truth got the hot tag and hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Tama Tonga.
Shortly after JC Mateo tagged in and Truth connected with the Stone Cold Stunner to take out Tama Tonga as he was interfering. He followed up by locking JC Mateo in the STF as Tala Tonga pulled Truth out of the ring and choke slammed him on the apron. Mateo pinned Truth for a two count and The Wyatt Sicks made their way out into the arena.
They brawled with the MFTs as Uncle Howdy applied the Mandible Claw to Solo Sikoa at ringside. JC Mateo fought off Uncle Howdy then rolled back into the ring as R-Truth hit him with a kick while Priest leveled Tama Tonga with a clothesline. R-Truth then hit JC Mateo with the Attitude Adjustment and pinne dhim to win the titles.
