Major Title Change Takes Place On AEW Dynamite

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the special St. Patrick’s Day Slam edition of the show, and the main event saw Britt Baker defend the AEW Women’s Championship against Thunder Rosa inside a steel cage.

The end of the match came when Britt Baker tried to put Thunder Rosa in the lockjaw, but Thunder Rosa grabbed Britt Baker’s hand and got free when she slammed Baker’s hand into a pile of tacks. Thunder Rosa then powerbombed Baker into the tacks as Baker rolled to the outside.

On the outside Britt Baker grabbed a chair then hit Thunder Rosa with it. Britt Baker then got back in the ring, and Thunder Rosa hit her with the fire thunder driver into the tacks to win the match and the AEW Women’s Championship.

After the match Dustin Rhodes came out to celebrate with Thunder Rosa as the show went off the air.
