Money in the Bank kicked off with the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match which was won by Liv Morgan, and the action continued with the second match which saw Theory defend the United States Championship against Bobby Lashley.
Theory put up a good fight, but it just wasn’t enough as Lashley walked out with the gold. Bobby Lashley picked up the win when he put Theory in the Hurt Lock in the middle of the ring which gave Theory no choice but to tap out.
After the match Lashley celebrated in the ring with a bloody mouth as he was apparently busted open during the match. Theory looked very frustrated as he looked on from the outside.
Bobby Lashley is now a three time WWE United States Champion. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
