The stars of NXT stepped into the spotlight on Saturday night as NXT No Mercy aired live from the FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The show featured some action packed matches such as the main event which saw Oba Femi defend the NXT Championship against Ricky Saints.
Near the end of the match Oba Femi cleared off the announce table then attempted to powerbomb Ricky Saints through it. However, Ricky reversed the powerbomb into a DDT on the table. Saints continued to stay on the offense as he hit Femi with a Tornado DDT on the floor.
After that Oba Femi chopped Ricky on the apron then hit him with a powerbomb in the ring. The Ruler was shocked when Ricky Saints managed to kick out. Shortly after Ricky connected with a DDT on Oba Femi followed by a Tornado DDT off the ropes to get the three count and become the new NXT Champion. After the match Ricky Saints celebrated with the belt as the fans cheered.
