Major Title Change Takes Place At AEW All In

The AEW All In pay-per-view aired live from Wembley Stadium on Sunday and the show kicked off with a big title change when PAC, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli captured the AEW Trios World Championship.

The action continued with the second match of the night as Toni Storm defended her AEW Women’s World Championship against Mariah May. Toni Storm was emotional as she made her way to the ring to face her former protege. Mariah May and Toni Storm stood face to face as Toni looked like she was almost in tears then the match kicked off as they exchanged strikes.

May powerbombed Storm off the apron to the outside early on then continued to attack Toni when the match returned to the ring. For most of the match the challenger dominated as the fans booed.

At one point Mariah May hit Toni Storm with a running knee off the apron to the outside. She then went to the announce table and kissed Nigel McGuiness on the forehead. May followed up dropkicking Luther into the barricade then she slapped her own mother who was in the front row. Toni Storm made a comeback as she hit Mariah May with a piledriver on the ring steps. Storm then checked on Mariah May’s mother.

Toni Storm made a big comeback and she managed to hit Storm Zero, but Mariah May kicked out at two. May and Storm knocked each other down with a double headbutt. Mariah May hit Mayday for a two count.

May tried to grab the AEW Women’s World Championship, but Luther pulled it out of her hands. She then grabbed the shoe she used when she turned on Toni Storm. Toni grabbed the shoe and almost hit Mariah May with it, but she hesitated and threw it down. Mariah May pinned Storm for a two count. She then hit Toni Storm with a piledriver to win the AEW Women’s World Championship for the first time in her career.

Mariah May celebrated with the AEW Women’s Championship and the Owen Hart Cup Championship as she left the ring. Toni Storm struggled to get up as the fans chanted for her. Finally she made her exit as she alternated between laughing and crying.
