WWE has signed a number of interesting names over the last few months, and now it seems that the company could be adding a high profile tag team to the roster.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the Motor City Machine Guns are expected to join WWE. No one has said anything officially, but that’s the talk within wrestling.
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley faced off against one another in a singles match at the Prestige Wrestling show on 7/12 and then said their goodbyes to independent wrestling. They have however been announced for the Smash Wrestling show on 8/18.
It’s no big secret that the former tag team champions have been in talks with AEW and WWE for months now, but it’s being said that WWE made the better off. The belief is that Sabin and Shelley have clearly made their decision and are being quiet about it.
