On Thursday it was revealed that a former WWE employee had filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon accusing him of sex trafficking and abuse. In response to the allegations Slim Jim issued a statement announcing that they would be pausing all promotional activities with WWE moving forward.
On Friday, Vince McMahon resigned from his position as Executive Chairman of TKO and from the TKO Board of Directors. Vince McMahon was also removed from WWE’s official website.
WrestleVotes is now reporting that following the events that took place on Friday, Slim Jim is back as a sponsor for the WWE Royal Rumble and will continue to work with the company one future events as well.
“After yesterday’s chaotic day, and the events that transpired, I am told Slim Jim is BACK as a main sponsor for tonight’s Royal Rumble PLE along with future WWE events.”
