A few weeks ago SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis officially debuted the new WWE Women’s United States Championship. A tournament for to crown the first champion then kicked off and it’s set to wrap up over the next few days.
During this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown fans will see Bayley vs. Chelsea Green and Michin vs. Tiffany Stratton in the semi-finals. The winner of each match will then go on to compete in the finals at Saturday Night’s Main Event the next night.
Dr. Chris Featherstone is reporting that Chelsea Green is currently slated to win the WWE Women’s United States Championship on Saturday night. While this presumably means that Chelsea will be picking up a win over Bayley on SmackDown, there’s currently no word on who she might be facing in the finals.
Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live on December 14, and the current card can be seen below.
