There’s absolutely no denying that LA Knight has become one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster. Knight is currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel, but it seems that Knight’s fans may not be happy with the result.
Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated is reporting that current plans call for Roman Reigns to defeat LA Knight and retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel. It was also noted that the venue was specifically chosen because the expectation is there will be minimum backlash for Roman Reigns defeating LA Knight.
According to the report even though LA Knight is currently one of WWE’s hottest commodities doubts still remain backstage. The belief among some is that LA Knight has reached the peak of his popularity.
Currently there are no plans for LA Knight to win the Royal Rumble and challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. The aftermath of Crown Jewel and whether or not Knight can maintain his popularity in the months that follow will likely determine his place on the card at WrestleMania next year.
