The annual WWE Survivor Series premium live event is quickly approaching, and this year it’s shaping up to be a big show. WWE recently confirmed several named for the men’s War Games match and it looks like the company has more surprises to unveil in the weeks to come.
As of this writing it’s been confirmed that the men’s War Game match will featured Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso & Sami Zayn facing off against Damian Priest, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio.
Recently the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Drew McIntyre is being considered for The Judgment Day’s team at Survivor Series and Fightful Select is reporting that’s been the working plan for months now.
Fightful Select is also reporting that the plan since the summer has been for Randy Orton to return and join the babyface team. It was also noted that there are tentative plans for WWE to reveal Randy Orton as the fifth member the night before the show so that the company can avoid any speculation regarding a CM Punk return.
Plans are always subject to change, but in recent months Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton had both been factored into creative plans for the War Games match at Survivor Series.
Stay tuned for updates.
