WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg appeared on Friday Night SmackDown last week via satellite, and he challenge Bray Wyatt to a Universal Championship match at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.
Wyatt accepted the challenge, and now the two Superstars are set to face off on February 27.
However, it doesn’t look like fans should expect to see Goldberg walk out of the show with the Universal Champion.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently noted that the current plan is still for Bray Wyatt to defend the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36 in April.
This means that Goldberg will either be losing at Super ShowDown, or the match will end in a disqualification in order to keep the title on Wyatt.
