WrestleMania 41 gave fans plenty to talk about, but now that the show is over everyone is focused on the Raw after WrestleMania. The first Raw after WrestleMania is always one of the biggest shows of the year and it looks like we could be seeing a big return tonight.

Ahead of tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, PWInsider is reporting that Rusev is backstage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and has been preparing for his return.

Rusev was released from WWE in 2020 and went on to sign with All Elite Wrestling a few months later. He remained with AEW for years and made his last appearance on AEW programming in December of 2023 when he faced Andrade at the Worlds End pay-per-view. It was reported earlier this year that Rusev finished up with AEW and was expected to return to WWE.

Ahead of Rusev’s return to television Big E recently confirmed that the former United States Champion was on his way back during a live stream when he said, “I reached out to him and he confirmed that the news is indeed true. I don’t know when he’ll be back. A blast from the past and actually it’s very topical because he has just announced that he is returning to the squared circle here in World Wrestling Entertainment.”
