You never know what’s going to happen when you watch NXT nowadays as the show has featured a number of crossover appearances. A few weeks ago Joe Hendry made his NXT debut, and after he was quickly eliminated from a battle royal he teased that he could show up on any show at any time. Now it looks like Joe Hendry’s next appearance could be coming sooner than later.
Fightful Select is reporting that Joe Hendry is backstage at NXT tonight, and that he was backstage at rehearsals for the show. As of this evening the plan was for Joe Hendry to wrestle during NXT and it’s being reported that he could possibly be in the main event.
On Sunday night Ethan Page won the NXT Championship in the main event at Heatwave. After the match Joe Hendry’s face briefly appeared on screen and Hendry was also teased during a NXT commercial that aired on Raw this week.
