Tonight’s episode of NXT is set to air live from Full Sail University and it will be the special Homecoming edition of the show. A number of former NXT stars including Charlotte Flair, Carmelo Hayes, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley and more will be returning to the brand, and now another big return has been confirmed.
WWE announced today that Bobby Roode will be making an appearance at NXT Homecoming. Roode first debuted with the NXT brand in 2016 and he went on to become a one time NXT Champion. During his run with NXT, Roode was featured as one of the top stars on the brand before getting called up to the main roster. In 2022, Roode underwent neck fusion surgery and in 2023 he underwent cervical fusion surgery. He has since transitioned into a backstage role with WWE working as a producer.
