This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to emanate from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO and it will be the go-home show for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Gunther is expected to address his upcoming match with John Cena, but it seems that at least one big name will be missing the show.
PWInsider is reporting that current WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will not be at Raw tonight. According to the report CM Punk is currently on set filming the romantic comedy The Bodyguard for Netflix.
CM Punk recently stepped into the ring for men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series and he was pinned by Bron Breakker. It was announced during last week’s episode of Raw that Punk will be defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on the January 5th episode.
