A number of top WWE stars are currently off TV, but it’s been rumored that fans could see some big returns in the weeks to come. Randy Orton is one of the names who’s sitting on the sidelines as Kevin Owens hit him with a piledriver on the November 8 episode of SmackDown and he’s been off TV ever since.

During a recent live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes was asked about Randy Orton’s return, and it was indicated that The Viper will be back sooner than later.

“By the Royal Rumble, you know, if not on February 1st, it’ll be beforehand. So yeah, very soon.”

Next week WWE Monday Night Raw will make the jump to Netflix, and it was recently reported that Randy Orton is not expected to make an appearance on the show. Currently Kevin Owens is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a ladder match at the Royal Rumble, but it’s probably safe to say that Orton will be looking to get revenge on Owens when he returns.

Stay tuned for updates.
