The last few months have been interesting for WWE as the company has been going through major changes. Vince McMahon recently retired and now PWInsider is reporting that Vince McMahon was officially removed from WWE’s internal talent roster earlier this week.
It was noted that Vince McMahon was listed internally as a talent alongside other talents who weren’t assigned to a brand, but who would make occasional appearances on WWE programming. An example given was that The Bella Twins and John Cena are listed the same way. However, Vince is no longer listed.
It’s being said that this is another sign that WWE is trying to extricate itself from any direct ties to Vince McMahon following his big retirement announcement. Recently it was also reported that all references to Vince McMahon in the backstage area have also been removed.
