Major Name Reportedly Backstage At WWE Raw

Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to take place from Hartford, CT and it’s shaping up to be a big show. Several matches have been confirmed for Raw and it seems that a big name is in attendance for the event.

PWInsider is reporting that Vince McMahon is backstage at WWE Raw tonight. This is the first episode of Monday Night Raw that Vince McMahon has attended since the Raw after WrestleMania 39 back in April.

WWE headquarters is of course in Stamford, CT, so it is not seen as a surprise that Vince is present for the show in Hartford. It’s also being reported that a lot of other WWE executives are at the Raw taping as well.

Vince McMahon returned to WWE back in January to pursue a sale of the company. The day after WrestleMania 39 it was confirmed that WWE will be acquired by Endeavor. Vince was asked during an interview on CNBC if he would be involved in creative and he said “yes and no” before adding that he wouldn’t be “in the weeds.” It was later reported that Vince was back in charge for the Raw after WrestleMania, so it will be interesting to see if he gets involved tonight.
