WWE has had to make a lot of changes recently due to the Vince McMahon lawsuit and it appears that the situation has affected 2K as well. Recently people have noticed that Brock Lesnar has disappeared from the 2K Supercard Digital Collectible Game and PWInsider is reporting that they’ve confirmed Lesnar was removed from the game.
Sources familiar with the matter noted that the expectation is that Brock Lesnar will be downplayed, if not outright removed going forward with 2K and other potential licensees.
Brock Lesnar was originally set to return at the Royal Rumble last weekend, but he was withdrawn from the event due to the Vince McMahon lawsuit. The expectation was that Brock would kick off his WrestleMania storyline, and there was talk of Lesnar facing Gunther at WrestleMania 40.
However, The Beast is no longer expected to appear at WrestleMania and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently reported that Lesnar has been removed from WWE’s creative plans.
Stay tuned for more updates on Brock Lesnar’s status as they become available.
