We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania which means that anything can happen, and anyone could return. Next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, TX and the show falls on the iconic 3:16 Day.

Recently during a WrestleVotes Radio Q&A session on Fightful Select, it was noted that there have been conversations regarding Steve Austin’s status for the 3:16 Day Raw in San Antonio, Texas next week. While an Austin appearance has not been confirmed, there are people who work for the company that are very hopeful The Texas Rattlesnake will be on the show. The company has talked to Austin and it’s being said that there’s a “decent shot” he’ll be on the 3:16 Day episode.

Steve Austin has not appeared on WWE programming since he returned to the ring to face off against Kevin Owens in the night 1 main event of WrestleMania 38. Austin did recently confirm that WWE reached out to him about appearing at WrestleMania 40. However, things just didn’t line up for that particular appearance.

It’s not clear at this point in time if the former WWE Champion could appear at WrestleMania 42 in April, but it’s been confirmed that he will be in Las Vegas for WrestleMania weekend as he’s currently being advertised for WWE World.

Steve Austin also recently shared his thoughts on potentially returning to the ring for one more match and you can get more on that here.
