We’re only a few weeks away from the annual WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and WWE recently confirmed that Rey Mysterio and The Great Muta will be inducted this year.
For some time now it’s been rumored that Batista would be part of the 2023 Hall of Fame induction ceremony, but now PWInsider is reporting that Batista is not expected to be inducted this year.
Originally Batista was set to be inducted as part of the 2020 class. However, plans were changed for The Animal due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently Batista is filming a movie which could be the reason why he won’t be part of the ceremony this year.
Even though WWE has yet to confirm the induction Stacy Keibler is expected to be part of the 2023 class. It was also noted that no tag teams will be inducted this year. Rey Mysterio is set to be the headliner for this year’s ceremony. The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place after SmackDown on March 31. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
