WWE has gone through some major changes over the last few years with some notable names taking on big roles in the company. Triple H took over creative on the main roster with Shawn Michaels taking over creative for NXT. Now it seems that another major name could potentially enter the mix.
The Undertaker officially retired from in-ring competition in 2020, but it seems that he might be looking to take on a new role with WWE. During a recent episode of his Keepin’ It 100 podcast Konnan claimed that The Undertaker is very interested in being part of the creative team.
“I think that… bro, I was running around. So, I think that The Undertaker wants to get into creative. He likes it a lot, and he’s been, you know… he was in [the] creative [meeting] for Money In the Bank, he was in the other one… and I think he’s very interested in being a part of the creative team. … He’d do well, bro, because I listen to some of his thoughts and yeah… [Disco: agreed, I’ve listened to his podcast and it seems like he knows what he’s… of course he does] Yeah, right. 100%.”
Despite the fact that The Undertaker retired in 2020 he’s still been very involved with the wrestling world. The former WWE Champion was a mentor on the first season of WWE Legends & Future Greats, and is expected to return to that role for the second season. The Hall of Famer also discusses wrestling on his podcast and during his One Deadman Show which is often booked in conjunction with big WWE events.
