Major Name Expected To Miss WrestleMania 41

WWE Bad Blood was a big show which ended with The Rock making a surprise appearance after Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu in the main event. Rock looked at Reigns and Rhodes in the ring as he put up his hand and counted to three. This led to some speculation that The Rock could have been teasing a potential triple threat match for WrestleMania 41.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that as of right now The Rock is not currently scheduled for WrestleMania 41. However, it was noted that things could obviously change as The Rock is going to do what he wants all the time.

It’s being reported that no one can say it publicly, but some people with old school mentalities didn’t like the idea that The Rock stole the show at WWE Bad Blood even though he’s not building to a match.

The Rock reportedly already gave word that he won’t be doing a match at Mania, and while no specific reason was given it’s being said that different reasons were given to different people. One story is that The Rock’s schedule got too heavy and he couldn’t commit to doing it right.

The belief is that The Rock has until the Royal Rumble to change his mind. He could probably change his mind after that, but a change could cause chaos as WWE keeps WrestleMania plans in mind when formatting the Royal Rumble.
