For weeks now the Blackpool Combat Club has been feuding with The Elite on AEW programming, and this week on Dynamite Jon Moxley faced off against Kenny Omega in a steel cage match in the main event.
The match was brutal as is expected from Moxley and Omega, and at one point they both went through the cage to the outside. Moxley managed to throw Omega back in the ring and then he grabbed a screwdriver before getting back inside the cage.
Kenny Omega got momentum on his side and he seemed to have the match won when he hit Moxley with One Winged Angel, but as he went for the pin Don Callis hit Kenny in the head with the screwdriver which allowed Jon Moxley to get the win.
After the match Kenny Omega was bleeding from his head and Don Callis teased that he was going to hit him with the screwdriver again, but he instead grabbed him by the head, whispered something to Omega and then shoved Omega to the mat as the fans booed. As Callis walked around the ringside area the fans chanted “a**hole.”
Jon Moxley then made his exit and celebrated at the top of the ramp to end the show.
