The AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view aired live from Las Vegas last month, and now all eyes are looking ahead to Forbidden Door II which will see stars from AEW and NJPW collide.
Fightful Select is reporting that the work plan is for KENTA to be a part of the show. It hasn’t been confirmed that KENTA’s deal to appear at Forbidden Door II has been finalized, but both sides are said to be operating under the assumption that it is.
It’s also being reported that CM Punk has been discussed as KENTA’s opponent for Forbidden Door II. Punk and KENTA have an interesting history as CM Punk has openly admitted that he stole the Go To Sleep from KENTA. Recently KENTA stated on Twitter that he doesn’t care who came up with the move and that he would only face Punk for the correct amount of money.
“I don’t really care who’s the original G2S. There is only one truth. If you want me to have match against Punk, Give Me correct amount of money. Other than that I don’t need to have this match. Seriously.”
