Major Backstage Heat On Randy Orton

As we previously reported, many fans and people within the company have had negative reactions to the recent house show matches that have been involving Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

Wrestlezone is reporting that there is some major internal backstage heat on Randy Orton.  Apparently many in the locker room have perceived Orton as being the reason the matches have been slow and have said he has been using a “crowd killing” style.

Several wrestlers in WWE who have seen their payoffs down are worried that Orton could be slowing down Roman’s eventual ascent to the top, where a new top baby face star is needed. John Cena can’t carry the company forever and Daniel Bryan’s health is a major question right now. “If Roman’s the guy, then Roman’s the guy,” one WWE Superstar said.

“Whoever is the guy, we need to get this guy over bigger than ever, not hold him down in rest holds and hope no one gets hurt. We’re in the wrestling business, Bumps and bruises happen.”
