The wrestling world has been buzzing about CM Punk recently as he showed up to Raw on Monday and he’s also expected to make his AEW return sooner than later.
It’s been reported that CM Punk is set to return on 6/17, or sooner, as he’s expected to be the star of AEW’s third show which is rumored to be called Collision. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is also reporting that another major debut or return is expected for the debut episode of Collision in June.
“The show, believed to be called AEW Collision, as noted last week, is expected to debut on 6/17 with a show from 8-10 p.m. Eastern, from the United Center in Chicago, which would also be the return of C.M. Punk along with what is expected to be either another major name debut or return.”
There’s currently no word on who the surprise could be for Collision, so it will be interesting to see who AEW puts in that spot. It’s also been reported that AEW is expected to split the roster with The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club staying on Wednesday nights. Chris Jericho could be making the move to Saturdays as it’s rumored he could be feuding with CM Punk when he returns. Stay tuned for updates.
