Main Roster Star Returns To NXT

Bron Breakker put his NXT Championship on the line over the weekend when he faced Joe Gacy at NXT: In Your House, and when it was all said and done it was Breakker who walked out with the gold.

This week on NXT, Bron Breakker made his way to the ring and said that at In Your House, Joe Gacy challenged him mentally and physically, but he still couldn’t take the NXT Championship away from him. Breakker said NXT is special and the fans cheered him. He followed up by saying at everyone wants a shot at the NXT Title then asked who would be next to step up.

That’s when Apollo Crews came out to a big reaction from the fans in attendance as they chanted, “welcome back!” Apollo said he missed the energy in NXT and he’s going to be with the brand for as long as he wants to be.

Crews added that he left NXT way too soon, but he’s back to make history, then he told Breakker that someday they’ll make history together. They shook hands and Crews said he’ll see Breakker down the road.
