It’s been an action packed year for WWE premium live events and currently all eyes are looking ahead to Bad Blood next month. USA Network published an article over the weekend that seemingly indicated CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre will main event the event, but that’s apparently not the case.
Fightful Select is reporting that as of the time Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns filmed their vignette at Georgia Tech the plan was for Rhodes & Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa to close out Bad Blood.
Cody Rhodes is from the area and the current plan calls for a school band to play him in during his entrance. Roman Reigns’ history with the area also played a factor when it came to WWE deciding the main event. It was noted that plans could also change, but as of last week Rhodes & Reigns vs. Sikoa & Fatu was set to headline.
WWE Bad Blood will air live on Saturday, October 5th. Stay tuned for updates.
