Last week WWE officially announced that WrestleMania 36 will be a two night event this year with the Show of Shows kicking off on Saturday, April 4 and continuing on Sunday, April 5.
The company has yet to confirm the lineup for the show, but according to WrestleVotes a source has claimed that Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler for the Raw Women’s Championship could be the main event on Saturday, April 4.
If Baszler vs. Lynch does indeed land the main event slot on night 1 then Becky will main event WrestleMania for the second year in a row.
It’s also being reported that the lineup is still being worked on, and that there will likely be 8 matches per night.
Talked with a source who said don’t be surprised to see a women’s match (Becky v Baszler) as the “main event” on the Saturday portion of WrestleMania. Lineup is being worked on now, upwards of 16 total matches. Likely 8 per show.
