It Looks Like The New England Patriots Love Their WWE World Title Belt

Super Bowl rings and WWE World Title belts are two of the most prestigious items in sports and entertainment, and it just so happens that the New England Patriots were flaunting both of those things earlier today.

Yes folks, they did it again on Sunday. The Pats took on the Atlanta Falcons at Super Bowl 51 and just when it seemed like all hope was lost, the Patriots rallied together and sent the game into overtime before winning it all.

WWE has gotten into the habit of sending World Title belts to sports teams when they win big games, and the New England Patriots proudly showed off their custom championship during their big victory parade in Boston.

The title wasn’t just a big hit at the parade, it was also a big hit on social media.

Mojo Rawley shared a photo of his friend Rob Gronkowski holding the title and Gronk looks thrilled to have the belt in his possession.

Mojo Rawley recently lost his tag team partner Zack Ryder when Ryder injured his knee during a battle royal on SmackDown. Rawley has vowed to go it alone from here on out, but Mojo also nonchalantly suggested that Gronk should make his way over to WWE for WrestleMania season.

It remains to be seen if Rob Gronkowski will be stepping into a WWE ring anytime soon, but one has to wonder why he would want to at this point when he can still earn a WWE World Title belt without taking a bump. But then again, New England Patriots fans know that Rob Gronkowski is a little crazy, so anything’s possible at this point.
