SummerSlam is always one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year, and with rumors of fans returning to live events sooner than later people have been wondering what the company might have planned for the biggest party of the summer.
Sports Illustrated reports that current plans call for July’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view to be held in front of a live crowd in Texas, and that the SummerSlam pay-per-view is set to take place from Nevada in August.
It’s being said that there’s a sense of optimism within WWE over the company’s dedication to continue running weekly shows from the ThunderDome during the pandemic.
The belief is that once the company hits the road there are no plans to return to ThunderDome and weekly travel will commence for Raw and SmackDown.
