There have been a number of wrestlers who have taken their careers to the next level in 2024, and Liv Morgan happens to be one of them. Morgan won the WWE Women’s World Championship at the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event back in May, and she recently celebrated 200 days as champion.

Back in November, Iyo Sky won a battle royal on Monday Night Raw to earn a shot at the WWE Women’s World Championship and she stepped up to challenge Liv Morgan for the belt at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

As soon as the bell rang Iyo Sky dominated the match for several minutes, but Liv Morgan managed to get in some offense when she hit a Backstabber followed by a Codebreaker. Sky hit Liv Morgan with three German suplexes for a two count as the fans chanted “let’s go Iyo.”

Once Iyo got the momentum back on her side she continued to dominate then she went to the top for a moonsault. As Iyo was coming down Liv Morgan put her feet up and hit Iyo Sky in the face. Liv Morgan then hit Iyo Sky with Oblivion and pinned her to win the match.

As Liv Morgan was leaving Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez came out to celebrate with her. Before they could get to the back Rhea Ripley came out and confronted the champion who held up her title in Rhea’s face.
