WWE shocked the world earlier today as the company announced that Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Santana Garrett, Buddy Murphy and Ruby Riott had all been released from their contracts.
Following the releases it was reported that Ruby Riott was one of the more shocking releases among talents because she was said to have been universally liked backstage.
Liv Morgan has spent a great deal of time working with Ruby Riott as a member of The Riott Squad, and she reacted to the news when she posted the following on Twitter:
“Whoever is lucky enough to get Heidi Lovelace on their roster, you win.”
Heidi Lovelace was the name that Ruby Riott used to use before joining WWE. Riott signed with the company in 2016, and she later made her debut on the main roster in 2017 alongside Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan as The Riott Squad. Recently Ruby Riott had been working in the women’s tag team division with Liv Morgan.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
