WWE celebrated 25 years of Monday Night Raw last night and invited a number of legends back to be part of the show, which included a number of female wrestlers who have changed the landscape of the Women’s Division in WWE over the past two and a half decades.
The likes of Trish Stratus, The Bella Twins, Michelle McCool, Maryse and Torrie Wilson were all part of the show live from The Barclays Center in New York last night, but many fans noticed that Lita was missing from the lineup.
Whilst fans took to social media to vent their frustration of her lack of presence alongside a number of other women from her era, it seems that Lita herself decided to tweet and explain the situation after a fan speculated that Lita could still be part of the show.
Lita was seen on the chair that promoted the show at ringside, but it seems that she wasn’t on the guest list for the event. Whilst there are rumours circulating that state that this is a ploy by WWE to make it an even bigger shock when she’s part of the Royal Rumble this weekend, it is currently unknown why WWE decided to omit one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time from the celebrations.
