Legendary Rock Icon Shows Up In Bakersfield, CA, WWE Live Recap 2/18/17

WWE’s red team was in Bakersfield, California Saturday night for a star-studded event. Before the show started The Hugger of Huggers, who is also a Cali-girl, let the world know just how she feels about returning to her home turf.

Adam Pearce is a wrestling legend and currently working as a trainer and producer for WWE and NXT. He was in attendance, only he was backstage producing the show. Pearce took to social media to hype the event and share a throwback photo as well.

Bakersfield has a very famous native from the rock music world and his name is Jonathan Davis, if you don’t know who he is then you probably know his band: Korn. Mr. Davis is a huge WWE fan and found himself backstage to share some of his family values with a couple WWE superstars.

Enzo and Big Cass showed up in Bakersfield to kick off the night and defeat Handsome Rusev and Jinder Mahal. Before their match they still had plenty of time to get their mic-work in.

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte and Nia Jax in a tag match. One interesting thing happened during their victory celebration as Sasha and Bayley appeared to be sharing the Raw Women’s Championship. Let’s hope that they don’t break it in two and pull another LayCool, because that wouldn’t work at all during this program.

Nia Jax found herself taking a nap during the match at one point, and we thank this gentleman supremely for the following video.

The New Day rocked the Bakersfield crowd with an inflatable box of Booty-O’s during their entrance. If you don’t believe us, just check out the video below. Unfortunately, it didn’t help them win because The Club went over in their match with The New Day and Sheamus and Cesaro.

Neville defeated Rich Swann at the show and looked like he was ready for business from the get-go. This new heel gimmick is really working out for Neville and we absolutely love it, even though we do miss the Red Arrow.

Samoa Joe appeared at his second main roster house show in a row last night where he once again defeated Sami Zayn in what some were calling the match of the night. They could very well steal the show at Fastlane.

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman tangled in the main event spot once again last night and it looks like they’re working on some stuff for Fastlane because they did the same table-spot in Dallas last night.

Since we here at Still Real To Us appreciate you so very, very much we’re going to leave all of the other excellent posts we collected from last night’s show in the space below. And remember, keep checking back for the latest news in the ring and behind the scenes.
