Next week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is the big 25th anniversary show, and some big names are set to make appearances. It was recently confirmed that WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler would be appearing on the show, so naturally fans wondered if they would be calling the action together.
WWE has now confirmed that Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler will be reuniting for the Monday Night Raw 25th anniversary show, and they’ll be calling the action from the Manhattan Center.
This is great news for WWE fans, as the Jim Ross/Jerry Lawler reunion will be a welcome dose of nostalgia.
The Raw 25th anniversary show will be simulcast from the Barclays Center and the Manhattan Center, so it’s likely that Ross and Lawler won’t be the only commentary team featured on Raw. One can’t help but wonder if we’ll be seeing more classic commentary duos reunited on the big show.
So far other big names confirmed for Raw 25 include Ted DiBiase, Sgt. Slaughter, The Godfather, John Laurinaitis, Teddy Long, The Boogeyman and Brother Love, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, The Undertaker, John Cena, Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross, The Dudley Boyz, JBL and Ron Simmons, The Bella Twins, Sean Waltman, The New Age Outlaws and more.
