CM Punk got the wrestling world talking when he took a shot at The Elite during the All Out post-show media scrum, and he and Ace Steel were involved in a physical altercation with The Elite after the press conference was over. CM Punk, Ace Steel and The Elite were all suspended following the altercation pending an investigation.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that threatened legal action has stalled the investigation. It’s also being said that no one involved has been let go yet including Ace Steel.
There is currently no timeframe for the suspended talents to return. Dave Meltzer also noted in the Wrestling Observer message board that, “One person has threatened legal action and been uncooperative.”
Ariel Helwani recently asked Tony Khan about the incident, but he declined to comment when he said, . A familiar answer was given. “The whole thing, I just can’t talk about it. I don’t wanna talk about it, but I understand what you gotta do.”
