The WWE writing team has been going through changes as of late, and it looks like WWE just let another writer go.
According to Fighful, WWE Raw writer Ryan Callahan has been fired after working with the company for several years. Callahan was part of the “home” team as opposed to the “road” team of writers so he didn’t travel to each Raw.
It’s being reported that the firing had nothing to do with Raw’s low ratings, but instead it was done because Callahan had an issue with Dave Kapoor, who used to play Ranjin Singh on WWE TV.
Kapoor reportedly felt that Callahan took creative changes a little too personally, and was difficult to work with, which didn’t set a good example for the rest of the writing team.
He was fired on Thursday, May 2. Callahan previously worked on shows such as The Bachelor,” “Monster In Laws,” and more.
The WWE creative team has been going through its own shakeup as of late, as Road Dogg stepped down from his writing position on SmackDown, RD Evans during the WWE Hall of Fame and Kazeem Famuyide is no longer with the company.
