WrestleMania season is over and as we all know sometimes WWE likes to reshuffle the deck after the Show of Shows. It’s been a long time since there’s been a WWE Draft and so far the company has yet to make any official announcements regarding when the next draft will take place.
Fightful Select reports that the WWE Draft was originally set to take place late last year, but it was moved. While the draft was rumored for late last year talent were told that it was being moved to an undetermined date sometime in 2023. However, over a dozen talent on the roster have confirmed that they haven’t been told anything regarding future plans for a draft or when it could happen.
Numerous talent noted that they just assumed it would happen after WrestleMania, but as of Friday afternoon no one had been told any details regarding the next draft.
It was also noted that in the past sources from FOX and USA Network have said that they prefer Raw and SmackDown to have different rosters as a way to specialize their investment, but Fightful hasn’t heard as much talk on that subject since the Triple H regime took over.
