News broke yesterday that Billy Corgan has filed a lawsuit against TNA, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Audience of One Productions has also filed a lawsuit against TNA. Audience of One worked with TNA in 2015 and did the production work for some of the TV tapings. The company has reportedly filed the lawsuit because they are still waiting on money that is owed.

This week’s episode of Impact was almost pulled from POP TV because of a musical rights issue. The issue was not eventually settled, but some of the music from the show was taken off the air and dubbed over with crowd noise.
The mystery investor who funded Bound For Glory and the last set of Impact Tapings was apparently Anthem Sports and Entertainment, a parent company of the Fight Network. It was noted this week in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the Fight Network met with Dixie Carter at the last set of tapings.
TNA was able to secure funding for the shows, but it’s also being reported that this weekend is a pay period for TNA, and they may not have money to pay the talent. Meltzer claims that he knows a couple of guys are ready to declare themselves free agents next week if they don’t get paid.
