Brock Lesnar defeated Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 32 and we haven’t seen him since. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that current plans don’t call for Brock Lesnar to return to TV until August likely to build up a match for this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Originally it was rumored that Brock would be doing something with Bray Wyatt or Braun Strowman at SummerSlam. Strowman was originally in line for a push but WWE cooled off on him after fans reacted negatively when rumors of a possible WrestleMania match with The Undertaker hit the Internet.
No word yet on if WWE still plans to move forward with a Wyatt Family/Brock Lesnar feud, but back in April Paul Heyman acknowledged that the two sides have unfinished business in an interview with Bleacher Report. When asked about what Brock Lesnar would be doing after WrestleMania Heyman said the following:
“There is certainly unfinished business with the Wyatt Family, which will be addressed when Brock Lesnar feels like it, at his whim, at his leisure, and convenience and at his pleasure as well.”
