WWE finally gave the fans what they’ve been wanting for quite some time when they put The Shield back together. The trio is back and stronger than ever, and Sunday night they will face off against The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman and Kane in a tables, ladders and chairs match at the TLC pay-per-view.
When The Shield reunited, most fans assumed that they would be sticking together at least through the Survivor Series pay-per-view, and now it looks like they will be working as a unit for the rest of 2017.
WWE will be returning to Madison Square Garden for a live event on December 26, and originally Roman Reigns was being advertised for a match with Braun Strowman, and Ambrose and Rollins were being advertised for a match with Sheamus and Cesaro, but that’s all changed.
Madison Square Garden is now advertising The Shield vs. The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro for the main event of the December 26 live event.
It seems that fans will have the chance to enjoy the reunion for the next few months, but there’s been speculation that Dean Ambrose will be the one to turn on the group this time around and bring the reunion to an end when the time comes.
The official Madison Square Garden website is advertising the following for the event:
