AJ Styles defended his WWE World Championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose at No Mercy, and Styles won the match by pinning John Cena. John has not been seen on WWE programming since No Mercy, and it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing Cena at Survivor Series this year.
At one point Cena was being advertised for Survivor Series, but WWE has since pulled Cena from advertisements for the big event. John Cena will once again be taking time off to film season two of his series “American Grit” which airs on Fox, Cena is expected to return on December.
Randy Orton is another name that’s not being advertised for Survivor Series, as he’s taking time off that week, and he’s expected to return at the SmackDown tapings on November 29.
Former WWE star Chris Nowinski was in the house for Hell in a Cell Sunday night in Boston. Nowinski had some great seats, and he praised the show on social media.
